The first Crete Marathon took place with huge success!

The athlete participation surpassed every expectation, the organization was of the highest standard and all the authorities were flawlessly cooperated.

Volunteers were an important part of this success and they supported with enthusiasm and consistency this event.

Also the citizens of Chania were a great part of the success as they responded with good faith and participated at all times, either good or bad.

The event comprised of a Marathon race, a 10km and a 5km race, a 2,5km race and Marathon Bicycle race (participative).
