Eirinodromia 2018 took place on Sunday, May 13, with the participation of more than 2000 runners and was for one more time a great success! The Event was organized by the Municipal Organization of Municipality Agiou Dimitriou for Culture, Sports and Environment (OPAP) and the Regional Unit of Attiki in cooperation with the Sports Club OFKA ODISSEAS, the Greek Olympic Winners club and under the auspices of SEGAS.

In detail, the runners crossing the finish line were: in the 10 km course 198, in the 5 km course 482 and in the 2,5 km course 1,427. In these numbers we have also to count the accompanying persons, where we can easily appreciate the presence of an additional 2,000 spectators in the area in front of the start/finish line.

Following the successful course of recent years, the Event with all its parallel cultural activities in memory of Alekos Panagoulis and its social actions, has been established as a major sports’ Event in Attica.

In particular, the following actions were carried out within the framework of Eirinodromia 2018:

• Free pre-competition cardiac control from the Henry Dynan Hospital Center.

• Collaboration and support of the Non-Profit Organization: Club “ORAMA ELPIDAS”.

• Free coaching program for the citizens for their participation in Eirinodromia race event, by the Sports Club OFKA ODISSEAS.

It should be noted that Eirinodromia with the certification of its routes has officially been included in the SEGA Racing Calendar.

The Organizing Committee congratulates all athletes on their performance as well as all runners for their participation and effort. All participants had the opportunity to experience an unforgettable experience!
